Jonathan Kehayias is a MCITP Database Administrator and Developer, who got started in SQL Server in 2004 as a database developer and report writer in the natural gas industry. After spending two and a half years working in TSQL, in late 2006, he was hired as the SQL Database Administrator for OSI Restaurant Partners. He has experience in upgrading and consolidating SQL environments, and has experience in running SQL Server in Virtual Environments on VMWare ESX 3.0.1+. His primary passion is performance tuning, where he frequently rewrites queries for better performance and performs in depth analysis of index implementation and usage.
His current projects include building http://www.sqlclr.net to help bridge some of the gap for CLR integration in SQL for those new to its use. He is also a member of the Tampa Area SQL User Group.
Outside of the SQL Server world, Jonathan is married with one daughter, and is a Drill Sergeant Candidate in the Army Reserves. When he is not working in SQL, or consulting in C#, he can often be found at the playground with his daughter or working in the garage on his 1966 Mustang Coupe.
